2026 Programme

Our 2026 junior training programme was launched at our information evening on Thursday 19th March. The information document available to download near the bottom of this webpage contains a summary of the information presented and we encourage you to read it carefully.
Priority booking (for paid up members only) will open on Tuesday 7th April 2026, with booking for different levels opening on various days that week. Please consult the details of the individual courses in our calendar to find out when individual courses open for booking.
If you are a non-member and have a child who might be interested in taking part in one of our 2026 Junior Training courses, please complete the appropriate online form which is available on this page.
Bray Sailing Club will provide a busy programme of junior training activities for ten weeks this summer, running from mid-June until the end of August. With an emphasis on lots of fun in a safe environment, we offer courses at all levels in Irish Sailing's Small Boat Sailing Scheme. Every summer, our junior sailors enjoy learning new skills, improving their existing skills, and having great fun with their friends.
As well as formal sailing courses, we also encourage our junior members (once they have completed one week of a Level 1 course) to participate in our weekly Pico Club, which gives them an opportunity to sail every Sunday from May to September. Our Junior Race Team also sails on Sundays, working on their racing skills prior to competing in regattas and racing throughout the season.
Bray Sailing Club takes the safety of all our members very seriously, especially our younger members. Our Child Safety Policy governs the safety and protection of our younger members both on the water and ashore, and contains clear guidelines as to how the Club and our leaders communicate and interact with younger members.
