    BSC hosts SeaBray weekend

    The weekend's glorious weather made for a very pleasant introduction to sailing for the twelve lucky recruits who were on our SeaBray Introduction to Sailing weekend course which took place on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday.     Sea Bray 2023 gets underway

    Keelboat Regatta postponed

    Given the continuing high pressure, and the prospect of little or no wind tomorrow morning, RO Barry MacNeaney has decided to postpone tomorrow's Keelboat Regatta. The event will now take place on Saturday 2nd September and details will be announced nearer the time.

    Cruiser weekday series gets underway

    The 2023 cruiser weekday series got underway last night in a light southerly breeze, with a good turnout of ten boats presenting on the line. Fat Lady honours went to Bellatrix as Ray and Colbert showed off their new sails, while line honours and first place on corrected time went to Saluja, with our Commodore and his son Seán on board.     A busy weekend draws to a close!

    Keelboat Regatta 2023

    Bray Sailing Club are pleased to announce details of the club Keelboat Regatta, to be held on Saturday May 20th.     2023 Cruiser season kicks off

    After a successful lift-in the previous weekend, the 2023 cruiser racing season got under way with two holiday series races over the holiday weekend. Saturday's race saw 10 boats take part in a 5 mile race, while Monday's early start had 7 boats participating.     Peggie Steele, life member of BSC

    It is with sadness that we hear of the death on Saturday afternoon of Peggie Steele. Peggie has been a Life Member of Bray Sailing Club. Newer members will not know Peggie. Although she was not a sailor herself, Peggie was very actively involved in Junior Training in the 1960s and 1970s as a parent of two Juniors - Christian and Barry. Her son Christian sailed competitively in Bray SC up to the early 2000s
