Darkness into Light 2024

We are delighted to announce that Bray Sailing Club will take part in our third Darkness into Light event on Saturday 11 May, with the ambition of raising as much as we can to support the work of https://www.pieta.ie/. If any members are considering donating to Pieta, we would like to invite you to consider making those donations through the BSC page.

The tides aren't very co-operative on Saturday 11 May, with low tide at 8 a.m., and an expected launch time of around 5 a.m. This means that only dinghy sailors who are happy to return by river are now invited to log on to our website and book their spot here. Booking is essential to ensure adequate safety cover. Due to the tide conditions, this activity will not be suitable for Flying Fifteens or Cruisers.

We look forward to seeing as many members as possible taking part in this wonderful community event in support of such an important charity. The clubhouse will be open for members if they wish to join the sailors for refreshments after the event.
