Advanced Dinghy Instructor course

We were pleased to host an Advanced Dinghy Instructor course over the last two weekends, during which Irish Sailing instructor trainer Kevin Leonard put nine aspiring Advanced Instructors through their paces over four long days of classsroom and water-based sessions.

We congratulate all nine candidates on being awarded their Advanced Instructor endorsement, which qualifies them to instruct advanced courses such as Advanced Boat Handling, Kites and Wires, Racing, and Adventure Skills. We were especially pleased to congratulate Frank Daly of BSC on achieving his endorsement and look forward to having him and Seán Lundy as our Advanced Instructors this summer. Seán was unable to take part in this course due to illness, but will be taking part in another one before the summer and we wish him every success.
