2023 Cruiser season kicks off

After a successful lift-in the previous weekend, the 2023 cruiser racing season got under way with two holiday series races over the holiday weekend.

Saturday's race saw 10 boats take part in a 5 mile race, while Monday's early start had 7 boats participating. Faoileán got the season underway with two narrow victories, but the results show a very tight bunching at the top of the leaderboard in both races. Disaster struck Pisces as she was dismasted on Monday - thankfully Gerry and Peter were uninjured and were able to return to the harbour under their own power. We wish them well as they undertake repairs.
