Introduction to Powerboating Cert - session 1
The objective of this course is to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to safely, and effectively, skipper an open powerboat, by day, on inland and coastal waters with which they are familiar. Participants must be aged 16 or over.
The course will be held on Friday evening from 1800 to 2100 (shorebased) and on Saturday from 0900 to 1730 (a mix of shorebased and on the water training).
Please bring appropriate clothing for going on the water on Saturday, together with a packed lunch, drinks, and snacks. Particpants are welcome to use the facilities in the club kitchen and there will be showers and changing rooms available.
