Race Officer Training Course

The Race Officer Training Course is both an introduction and refresher course for the Race Officer (RO) and Assistant Race Officer (ARO) duties. The course will cover the process from what equipment you'll need on the day, assessing weather conditions with the class captain(s), starting and results procedures etc..
Club members are expected to volunteer for some duties during the sailing season, and having done this course, the RO and ARO duties take on a new level of enjoyment.
Mark Henderson will run the course via Zoom, the Zoom link will be circulated, 24hrs before the event.
