Sailing for Teenagers
Bray Sea School is the training division of Bray Sailing Club and is a Recognised Training Centre of Irish Sailing (NGB of Watersports).
The Irish Sailing, Start Sailing course is the first step to learning the basics of sailing and we're now opening this up for bookings from teenagers interested in trying out a new watersport.
While our courses are open to 8-17 year olds, our June courses are particularly suited for teenagers as they can be reasonably certain of being in a group with others around their own age.
The courses run 0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday and provide a thorough introduction to sailing in accordance with the Irish Sailing (NGB) Small Boat Sailing Scheme.
No investment in gear is required, we provide the boats and can arrange the use of Wetsuits and Buoyancy Aids for the week.
And at the end of the week on the Friday evening, there'll be a complimentary burger BBQ and you'll be awarded with a recognized Irish Sailing certificate (Taste of Sailing or Start Sailing).
